 Aquatic Reflections
In the Wedding Garden of Florida Botanical Gardens, a beautiful 170-foot mosaic features a glass pond filled with lily pads, goldfish, frogs and one turtle as a playful touch. The public artwork, which was completed in 2011, replaced the formal pools of the garden and adds to the natural wonder of the formal gardens. Aquatic Reflections was created by volunteers who meticulously created 84 2-by-4 foot mosaic pieces. With finanical help from the Florida Botanical Gardens Foundation, the volunteers brought the vision of the mosaic to life in the gardens for the enjoyment of all visitors.
